The Roadtrip Laundromat ~ another highway (part 2 of ?)

At first, I thought I was choosing this. That the road was freedom. That being alone meant I belonged everywhere.

But somewhere between one empty highway and the next, the movement stopped feeling like moving forward.

It started feeling like a loop.

I drive. I stop. I wash. I wait.

I leave… and somehow I come back.

Different town, same laundromat.

Different day ……. same feeling.

I tried to break it once. I left my clothes behind, walked straight out while the machine was still running. I told myself I wouldn’t turn back, wouldn’t care.

But …….. somehow……..
