this mistake cost me months of progress
notice how the first line got you curious?
this is the purpose of a hook
readers scroll fast, so your hook has to earn their attention before you explain complex ideas
a winning hook does two things:
➜ sparks curiosity
➜ signals what the reader can expect
and it usually comes in 4 shapes:
→ stakes
shows what can be gained or lost
→ tension
puts two facts that clash together
→ concrete scene
focuses on a specific moment
→ question
creates curiosity by making the reader want an answer
one final thing, keep the promise of your hook
don't hook someone with “how ai can help us” and then spend the second paragraph explaining the history of ai.
(reminds me of a particular thread i wrote lol)
enjoy your day :-)
i concur, i concur !
and you don’t even need to know everything to start.
you just need to learn the skill, keep improving, and take the work seriously.
understand people. communicate well. deliver results.
My top 4 bullet points on this article by @thedankoe
1. Collecting tools without a real strategy is just a distraction that feels like progress.
2. Positioning is everything. Build a superior position step-by-step so the winning moves open up naturally.

Do you guys create content for these platforms?
I’ve been digging a little deeper, so I discovered these sites today.
I’ll learn more new things tomorrow....
to those intrigued by human warfare, last night a single question had people ready to throw hands on Space (literally)
and all it took was two different perspectives to turn a conversation about followers into a debate about numbers, value, and what it really means to be known in this space.
and no, it would be derogatory of me to call it gist.
