i like the xabi appointment but if we’re being honest, ALL of the last six months could’ve been avoided if they had this epiphany when maresca told them.
Between August 2004 and May 2011, Chelsea lost only five games at Stamford Bridge. They have now lost seven Premier League home games this season.
Against Nottingham Forest the fans booed at half-time, many left long before the final whistle. It was an unacceptable performance.
But then there are so many more things that are unacceptable about Chelsea under the current ownership - @liam_twomey lists 15 of them.

60/61pts would have enough for UCL Football. We had 43pts after 25 games. And that’s including the embarrassing September & December we had before the manager change.
An embarrassing season. We couldn’t get 17pts in 13 games?
Everyone setting themselves up for disappointment if you think Xabi Alonso is gonna be the Chelsea manager.
Won’t work with the current structure and we’re not going to change it.
It’s just a ‘name’ they’re throwing out there to appease fans imo.
We have all seen this story.
🔹 Xabi Alonso - Showing the Sporting Directors are being ambitious.
🔹 Marco Silva - The one we desperately want to avoid, so will be satisfied with anything else.
🔹 Andoni Iraola - Reality. Another experiment, same failed project.
@ChelseaFC No hard feelings Liam. Did his best.
Should never have been hired in the first place. Now SACK the people that have made yet another horrific managerial decision.
Blueco OUT
Winstanley, Shields and Stewart OUT
Chelsea doing all they can to twist the narrative onto Liam Rosenior's fault rather than admit that whoever hired him and spent £2bn on an unbalanced squad that isn't good enough and lacks key elements, is actually the problem here and hold them accountable. Predictable.
