@markcecchini@TheNFTCPA I’m CPA eligible and taking exams this year. I have years of customer service experience and working on the technical tax side to serve clients. What is one area I should focus on that has a BIG need and will for years to come? I’m looking for specifics.
@TKopelman@TKopelman this is good insight right here. Growing income is key. Only so much can be done with a fixed budget. Can only cut so many expenses.
"Most people" do what "Most people" do.
This is a huge mistake. In the US:
* 50% of marriages end in divorce or separation
* 60%+ of the pop. is obese or overweight
* 70% of people have less than $1k in savings
What "most people" are doing isn't working
Why do I focus on increasing active and passive income more than cutting expenses?
Expenses can only go down 100%.
Coffee was $5, now it’s $0.
$1,800 of savings per year.
Income can go up indefinitely.
Pull the lever with the most leverage.
Often times I don't know why I feel the way that I do. I'm not paying attention to the trends of my emotions. There's really good news here. If we pay attention to how we're feeling, that "feeling data" can help us reflect and process our emotions better.

I’ve been listening to your podcast for about 3 weeks now. I’m learning HTML and CSS on my own and I’m realizing that there’s no way I can be “self-taught” as a developer because I’m learning from people like you both everyday.
I recently got out of the habit of reading.
My 📱 has ruined many of my days.
Not this trip.
I put my phone down and focused.
You can too.

Distraction is the enemy of focused growth.
I flew out to Wisconsin for a trade show. This calculated for about 4 hours of sitting on a plane.
I brought The 1-Page Marketing Plan by @allandib and set a goal to finish reading before I landed back in my hometown city.
