I wish more people, especially parents, knew the difference between conceptual knowledge and procedural knowledge. Some kids can memorize procedures but have literally NO CLUE why they're doing what they're doing.
That's not learning; that's compliance.
There's a lot of talk about DEIJ in international school contexts, but not always a lot of action.

On the first day of school, students take a picture with this "I am a math person" frame. I learned from Atomic Habits that it STARTS with identity. We need to believe we are math people (because we are).

You cannot get educated by this self-propagating system in which people study to pass exams, and teach others to pass exams, but nobody knows anything.
You learn something by doing it yourself, by asking questions, by thinking, and by experimenting. ๐ง
