@TJump_@OlPossum1 @LisaQthinks @Lead1225 @ModernDayDebate Each day for 40 days, the disciples were able to predict and test that Jesus really rose from the dead from what they saw each of those days with his presence. This would have been the sufficient empirical evidence they would need to endure the hardship that did come their way.
@justin_perdue Don’t you believe that Jesus only pursues the ones he has chosen from eternity past, least the rest to be damned?
-unconditional election
@RevReads289 Why do you think Jude ties perseverance to ‘eternal life’?
But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
Jude 1:20-21
@RevReads289@theistinthought It seems that if someone is a consistent unconditional eternal security advocate, this has to be agreed upon.
What do you think?
@RevReads289@theistinthought Is this just to say that someone can stop having faith in Jesus, start having faith in Allah for the last 50 years of their life, and they will still be saved by Jesus?
@ProfessorBigz@ManassehRJones Haha
You’re leaving questions on the table.
We know you don’t want to touch to expose the double speak.
Looks like you don’t have things to do after all. Just more double talk.
Engage the questions honestly.
@ProfessorBigz@ManassehRJones You’re stuck. Double talk only goes so far. There is a reason the vast majority of christians, including consistent Calvinists scoff at what you are saying.
Have a good sleep.
@ProfessorBigz@ManassehRJones And who controls the desires of men?
Who is in control of these secondary causes to ensure they happen as God has decreed?
Is man Libertarianly free, or is God meticulously controlling it all?
Here comes the double talk in 3,2,1…
Or silence, haha
@ProfessorBigz@ManassehRJones You just double talk.
You say God controls everything, but he doesn’t control everything at the same time.
Who is controlling the desires and the acting on these desires of man, if it’s not God?
