Just once I’d like to hear a republican answer a question without saying Joe Biden or the democrats. We are more than a year in to YOUR administration - it’s time you owned it.
"Left-wingers want high taxes"
Err, no...
Left-wingers want to tax the rich. They want to redistribute that wealth to the masses, and invest in public services, to improve the lives of regular folk.
Right-wingers want to tax the poor. They want to give your money to the rich.
@realDailyWire GDP in 2025 grew at just 2.1%, down from 2.8% in 2024 and 2.9% in 2023. Trump's first year as president had lower GDP growth than the lowest year of Biden's term. Plus, debt is now growing faster under Trump than it did under Biden. Consumer prices will soon explode. Stagflation.
Y’all are acting like you’ve never seen a 79 year-old sexual predator wake up on Easter Morning, snort some Adderall and insult the world’s 2 billion Muslims while threatening war crimes against a country he illegally attacked to distract you from ‘Epstein Files’ before?
"The U.S. Forest Service is closing 57 of its 77 research facilities in 31 states under a reorganization plan announced this week, threatening science that looked at how wildfires, drought, pests and global warming are putting pressure on forests." https://t.co/HEMJFiU4op
The -133,000 revision is the number everyone will focus on. The March report that came out alongside it tells a bigger story about where this economy actually is.
178,000 jobs added. Looks like a rebound. But 35,000 of those were physicians returning from a strike. 396,000 people left the labor force entirely, dropping participation to 61.9%, lowest since November 2021. The unemployment rate fell to 4.3% because the denominator shrank, not because the economy improved.
Average February and March together: 22,500 jobs per month. The economy needs ~150,000/month just to absorb new workers entering the labor force. We're running at 15% of replacement rate.
Wage growth fell to 3.5% year over year, lowest since May 2021. Federal payrolls down another 18,000, now 355,000 cumulative losses since October 2024. Long-term unemployed up 322,000 over the year.
The 2025 jobs numbers already got revised down to 181,000 total for the entire year. That's 14% of 2024's gains. The economy didn't slow down in February and bounce back in March. It's been decelerating for 15 months straight, and the monthly noise is masking it.
Every recession starts with a jobs report that looks fine until you read the revisions six months later.
China is using folding mobile photovoltaic power stations, long strips of solar panels that unfold to quickly generate electricity, bringing clean power to construction sites, disaster zones, and remote areas.
