@680TheFan When did the rule change that the game becomes a suspended game, picking up where it left off vs it being completely scrubbed and started over?
@jase1129 He’s had to pitch in at least three games that included rain. Not to make excuses but that doesn’t bode well for a guy who constantly lives on the edge.
@CAgovernor Let’s start by you being the example. By all measures, you, too, are rich. Voluntarily give 90% of your wealth to the government. Then we might take you seriously.
@SenWarren You are wealthy by any standard. Your fake virtue signaling would be taken more seriously if YOU voluntarily give more in taxes. Let’s start with 90% of your reported $8M in wealth. Lead by example!
@mallory131313@ChoppinBravos He actually sort of was. He struck out looking on a fastball right down the middle (on purpose?), potentially preventing hitting into a GIDP, and allowing Ronald to hit with 2 outs. (Ronald singled in a run.)
@ChikinChop He struck out looking (on purpose?) with runners on base in the 2nd so as to not potentially hit into a DP with Ronald on deck and 1 out. Ronald then hit an RBI single. So at least there’s that.
@greg_price11@RealDeanCain I said it 6 years ago and many times since then, but Jill allowing her husband to run for President in his condition is the most narcissistic thing a wife could do. She wanted to be First Lady so bad that she didn’t care how. She’s awful, and no one can tell me different.
@RhubarbBrown Yeah, there was no “rivalry” with the Mets until realignment and not really until Chipper became their “daddy” during the 1999 season. Before that, they (the Mets) were completely irrelevant and have mostly been so, since then, except for a couple of seasons.
@KevinKeneely1 I watched this on tape delay & many times on replay over the years. I just now noticed that each of the 4 Braves announcers called each home run - Ernie Johnson, Skip Caray, John Sterling, & Pete van Wieran, in that order. With John’s recent passing, all of them are now gone.
