Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, founder of Zapphaire Events, on the highest budget she's worked with.
She says it's more than N2b. When she saw the money in her account, she felt very uncomfortable and started to pay vendors early.
She also returned N50m excess to a client who had forgotten about it.
i had a colleague who disappeared for almost two years
he didn't make any announcements, no big things coming, no posting every book he was reading, every course he was taking was private or every move he was planning. people assumed he was rotting, i even assumed he was doing nothing
then one day he came to visit but with a completely different life. new skills, new income streams, new mindset.
everyone was shocked cos they only saw the result, not the thousands of quiet hours that built it. that was when i understood something: not every seed grows better when exposed to the world. some things need darkness before they can break through the soil.
too many opinions can weaken a strong vision. too much explaining can replace execution.
most of the time, the best way to protect ur future is to stop seeking permission from people who cannot see it yet. move quietly, build privately and let the results introduce you. some people announce the journey, others just arrive at the destination without prior whistle. i learnt this power of privacy from him.
I’m convinced the algorithm reads minds. You could be thinking about someone or something, never search for it, and somehow it ends up on your TL or FYP. I still don’t know how that works. 😂
Primary school beside my house doing graduation today, I kid you not, they have called one name “Mariam Adebowale” like 15 times for prizes. She no gree leave anything for anybody.
Every set has that person 🤣
Dear @_DebbieOA ,
Good Evening Maam 🙂
That baby photo is actually my daughter DABERECHI and the picture was posted sometime in 2025 when she just turned 7months.
Again, like I said the day the picture was posted (alongside with a YouTube video on our family vlog series); Mummy Dabz struggled with lactation which affected her mentally and biologically.
Everything practically possible was done to help her lactate (taking Ogi, palmwine, kunu , etc) but nothing nothing.
Should I watch and allow my daughter starve because my wife couldn’t lactate? No nawww!
The truth, I have come to realized that many people really don’t know that NOT all mothers can lactate effortlessly and it’s okay. To those mother that lactate effortlessly, I am so happy for them. But those mothers that struggle with lactation, Biko always know that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is wrong with you oh!
That’s why there is baby formula as alternatives, BIKO USE FORMULA FOR YOUR BABIES BASED ON YOUR DOCTOR’S DIRECTIVES.
Thank you 🙏
I think one of the most heartfelt experiences in life is discovering that someone genuinely enjoys your presence. Not what you provide, Not your accomplishments. Just you, your thoughts, your energy, your existence.
Ngozi Nwosu, is about to undergo life-changing surgeries due to ill health, and she needs our support. This fundraiser is just getting started, and sharing helps so much in the early days. Even if you can't donate, a quick share can help.

I want you to be delusionally optimistic about your life. Gaslight yourself into thinking you're smart enough to figure something out. You will. Eventually, you'll figure it out.
Your life becomes what you tell yourself the most. I'm not enough. I'm not ready. This won't work. I will start tomorrow. Pay attention. You believe what you repeat the most in your head. Change your inner script and it will change your life. Remember that.
People respect you more when they don't see you often. Even parents. Trust me. It's strange how distance rearranges love, how absence restores what closeness erodes. When people are deprived of your presence, they start seeing you clearly again, not through habit but through awareness. Proximity dulls perception. Space sharpens it. That's just how the human mind works.
