Some good progress on the RF85 today. Rear end nearly there now

Brilliant day @Oulton_Park yesterday shaking down Scott’s new car. Merlyn MK11 looked stunning and went very well. Beautiful job by Nigel Grant.

Had a great (if very wet!) day @Oulton_Park y/day. One pole, followed by a 3rd & 5th in horrendous conditions. Well done to all the drivers who got through in one piece. Tks to all marshals & officials who stood out in it.

Power oversteer (as demonstrated by Jim Clark and Jochen Rindt). What motor racing - and life - should be all about.
