Not because of GDPR but acknowledging it. It's not a barrier. US success is as much based on their global operations.

Then they spend more money, businesses profit, customers get products or services ... it's a winning combination

Averages do not reflect edge cases (peaks) but in general the data shows a positive trend to our understanding and is good news.
