@SikotiHamiltonR Let's not forget the Ustashi fascists fighting with the Nazis in WWII. The NZ Dalmatians I have known were firmly with Tito. Post WWII Croatian migration to Australia was often of pro Ustashi elements, reflected in the football clubs they set up.
@huwrichards3@FootballPinks@TFHBs@grahamhiley In New Zealand we had the Saturday Sports Post, based in Wellington. Flown into my home town by early evening. Wonderful front page cartoons by Neville Lodge. During the long university summer holidays you could check how your mates were doing playing cricket all over the country
@huwrichards3@BBCWalesNews C'mon Huw, support New Zealand. They are in about the same situation that Welsh rugby, most unfortunately for the game in my opinion, has been a long time!?!
@sonaljay8 Is there a list of shame of outfits that turn away locals? Always bitterly disliked places that say no or make excuses if my wife fronts up but if it is 'sudu' me all is welcoming.
@petersuntimes@ChampionsCup 100%. Moreover the ref seemed quite frazzled at times, making his English even more difficult to understand. Didn't even give impression he understood he was speaking a second language to most to the players.

@Ibrahim1nNaji In UAE only about ten percent of population is native Arab. Among others about 350000 Lankans. Forget the 'elite' expats/'influencers' etc., the migrant workers from Asia and Africa need to be organised.
@ChalynRugby My recollection is that in the quite regular international competition for best XVs from several countries and held in SA, the chosen SA school team doesn't always win, not even almost always.
@huwrichards3@SteveMascord And then you still have South African rugby communities (in the Cape for example) who still back the All Blacks against the Springboks, not just a matter of sport but wider social issues
Sri Lanka will take on New Zealand in a crucial Super Eight match of the 2026 T20 World Cup at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo today (25).
The match begins at 7:00 a.m.
@ChristypDoran I expect competition for tickets and even disappointment. I got bullshit messages stopping me from entering the waiting list, and then when I was in was tossed out twice. Finally in and sold out. Can't help thinking there is wilful incompetence, abetting who?
@JamieWall2 Not me, site rejected me and then expelled me from waiting room. Now sitting in queue fro several hours. Other reports of such and other issues
@ChalynRugby@AllBlacks Well done! I'm now stuck in the 'waiting room'. Initially could not even get there. Suspect internet connectivity to Sri Lanka played against me.
