Found out today that I am a direct descendant of William Brewster of the Mayflower. He is my 12th great grandfather.
He was the most senior leader of the Separatist on the Mayflower and helped draft the Mayflower compact.
His life story embodies the Separatist quest for religious freedom, marked by persecution, exile, and pioneering settlement in the New World.
Happy early Thanksgiving. God Bless America!
Florida processes more than 10 million votes in a matter of hours.
California takes days — or sometimes even weeks — to count the votes.
It’s pathetic — and it’s corrosive to our civic culture.
California could easily pass laws that would ensure we know the winners of their elections on Election night.
They simply choose not to.
And we all know why...
Just touched back down in the USA after some time abroad — and boy, does it feel good to be home.
As fun as it is to travel, there’s truly no place like the West.
Here’s a few pictures I took while I was in England.
It should not take 30 days to count votes. California’s election laws don’t just favor Democrats — they’re designed to protect the establishment by offering no automatic recount when a race falls within a reasonable margin of error. The challenging candidate must pay the local elections offices for votes to be double checked for accuracy. No automatic recounts, just ballot curing and mail-in votes trickling in weeks after Election Day.
The state is long overdue for reform. A few common-sense fixes would go a long way — starting with voter ID. Why does it peeve Democrats that state law requires them to carry their ID when they drive their cars, but citizens shouldn’t be asked for their ID to participate in the most fundamental constitutional right of being an American citizen?
If election integrity isn’t the problem, why do California Democrats keep defending a system that does nothing but breed suspicion and doubt? Why does it take so long to count votes?
California allows mail-in ballots to be counted if they are postmarked by 8 p.m. on Election Day and received up to SEVEN days later.
That's why it takes a minimum of a week for a close race in the state to be called.
This is not how first-world nations conduct their elections.
"There's no voting our way out of this."
Actually, you can just remove the uniparty from elected office and replace them with true conservatives if you organize your fellow patriots and vote in Republican Primaries.
The U.K. is over run with non-assimilated immigrants.
I thought the immigration crisis wasn’t as bad as I consistently read about online.
It is much worse than what little we see online.
Unless there is an immediate dramatic reversal in policy, this nation and its culture will be lost.
🇺🇸🇫🇷 An idea to create a Lewis & Clark “Argonath,” like the one from Lord of the Rings, has drawn the attention of French foundry Atelier Missor.
They say they could build them for $50 million each, 300 ft tall, at the head of the Mississippi River.
This would be absolutely incredible…

Heading to the U.K. — so naturally I’m marking 250 years of freedom from the crown with watching Americana films.
Currently watching We Were Soldiers.
What are you watching before the 4th of July?
Every time I talk about eliminating property tax, someone asks: "But how will we fund roads and police?"
As if the government would collapse without the power to take your home.
Here's what people forget: Idahoans already pay income tax, sales tax, gas tax, payroll tax, telecom taxes, utility fees, excise taxes, licensing fees, and more.
For someone earning $70K in Idaho, the total tax burden is roughly $20,000 — a 30% effective rate across all levels of government.
In 1776, Americans paid about 1-1.5% of their income in total taxes. They revolted. We pay 20-30x that, and on top of it all, we accept the one tax that can take your home.
You can stop paying income tax and you'll owe a penalty. You can stop buying things and avoid sales tax. But if you stop paying property tax, the government takes your house. The one you already paid for.
That's not taxation. That's serfdom.
Idaho's state spending grew $1.2 billion above inflation and population growth in just six years. The money is there. The only thing missing is the political will.
I'm not proposing we cut a single service. I'm proposing we stop funding services with the one tax that can make you homeless.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. The Spencer Pratt surge is REAL: He just raised 10 TIMES THE AMOUNT OF MONEY as incumbent Mayor Karen Bass in the last month
PRATT: $2.72M 🤯
RAMAN: $401K
BASS: $283K
Read that again!
Common Spence — the outsider — just 10Xed the sitting mayor backed by the machine!
@SpencerPratt is now rivaling Karen Bass' ALL-TIME WAR CHEST that she built throughout her entire reelection campaign over months and months.
In 30 days.
The momentum is real.
TIME TO WIN AND SAVE LOS ANGELES! MAN OF THE MOMENT! 👏🏻
I don’t know who this guy is, but I feel like I could spend many evenings and share a few pints while talking about my favorite novel with this real-life Tom Bombadil.
“Lord of the Rings is a Fundamentally Catholic work” - J.R.R Tolkien
This whole episode absolute masterclass in understanding Tolkien and Story.
I could listen to @malcolmguite talk about ANYTHING.
Last night‘s results revealed two things:
A) North Idaho is trending dark red.
B) The rest of the state is favoring the purple moderate.
Grass roots conservatives need to regroup, organize, and fundraise to overcome the PAC/establishment influence in the south.
