In a period of College Football when players are often focused on individual achievement and notoriety, Ty Simpson stood firm.
He waited his turn, trusted the process and gave his team and the University everything he had
Go be great Ty, thank you for your service
Alabama made the conference title game and won a playoff game in year 2 under a new head coach after replacing Nick Saban.
Add in the roster turnover he’s had and the new landscape of CFB. He showed signs of progress in year 2.
It was a success
Germie Bernard: Thank you for the two seasons you spent in a Crimson uniform.
You epitomized the Bama standard. Never complained. Showed up and did your job every time with a smile on your face.
You're always welcome in Tuscaloosa. Go be great in the NFL, good sir. Respect.
I might catch some flak on this one but, this Alabama team was obviously deeply flawed with the inability to run the ball with any kind of consistency.
To still reach 11 wins, earn a playoff spot, and go on the road and actually win a game in a hostile environment is a testament to the coaching staff
Some changes are definitely needed, mainly Kapilovic. But we did see a progression in year 2 of the Kalen DeBoer era.
