I am proud of Addy’s academic and athletic achievements. I am also proud of her family especially Kristin who has provided mentorship, love and opportunities to let Addy soar. I am excited for her future !

It was great to be with Mezzo soprano Taylor Raven at the North Carolina Opera Gala. Last season Taylor performed in the Metropolitan Opera production of Antony and Cleopatra.

Duke University is trying to set a world’s record today by training 30,000 people in Hands Only CPR. Hands Only CPR can triple survival rate if started immediately. Rural residents particularly need this skill to jump in while an AED is readied and EMS is responding.
