@codygoodermote Probably our nb. 1 feature request ๐ Not possible currently, but we keep checking and asking Apple. The tech/APIs do seem to exist, but can't currently be used outside of an MDM controlled environment.
Wow. TripMode just got featured on the Mac App Store with a front page story! Look at these beautiful visuals. A dream come true after years of hard work. Thank you to the @AppStore editorial team and their talented designers!

@unicornplatform Your website including those of your customers (e.g., https://t.co/0xq09Pqgcv) appear to be down. Are you working on it? When will it be fixed?
Apple removed the controversial Network Extension "Exclusion List" in the latest macOS Big Sur 11.2 beta. A welcome fix for users who are now able to properly filter the traffic of Apple apps with @tripmodeCH or similar๐

@aras_p@stroughtonsmith Looked like this after barely 6 months. Entry level MBP13 2019. Keys were sometimes so hot that my fingertips felt numb at the end of the day.
In the recent macOS Big Sur release, Apple placed 56 of its own apps, such as FaceTime and Apple Maps, on an exclusion list allowing them to bypass firewalls and certain VPNs without usersโ knowledge. This seriously undermines macOS usersโ security and privacy.
@xenadu02 Glad to see it's being reconsidered as a bug, because Apple told us it "behaves as designed" (FB7740671 + FB7665551). And why is there an exclusion list in the first place? I'd love to know more and see this documented.
@stroughtonsmith Hey,
we just launched TripMode 3, 100% made for Big Sur. A tiny menu bar app that saves you tons of data, speeds up your Internet speed.
