Dan Bongino says socialism has failed everywhere it’s been tried, arguing its supports yearn for the same power and inequality they claim to oppose:
“To the socialists out there, listen. You don’t have to be dumb—that’s a choice. You can look up the history of socialism. It’s been tried over and over again, and it always ends the same way. It doesn’t work. One of the people in that earlier clip said we should get rid of the Supreme Court because we can’t have a small group of people ruling over everyone else as elites. Did you hear what you just said? That’s the essence of socialism—collectivist principles that turn over your property, your economic power, and your political power to a group of government elites. Do these people even listen to themselves? If they lose, it will be because they’ve exposed exactly who they are.”
So NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, the guy who ran on "tax the rich," is now pushing for a nearly 20% pay raise for himself and other NYC government officials. He literally said anyone getting rich or finding tax breaks is evil. Did something change?
If these representative's salaries were based on actual results for their constituents, I wonder how many would be earning anything at all.
Democrats had no problem with Graham Platner's Nazi tattoo. They had no problem with his Reddit posts. They had no problem with him being on an app used by child predators. They had no problem with multiple allegations of abuse. They only had a problem when it became clear he was no longer a viable candidate for Senate.
@johnrabe His mechanics are not good. He’ll never hit consistently moving his back foot. Reminds me of Sheffler’s golf swing at times. There’s a reason no good hitters do that.
