@jesqa_ Because these kinds of endorsements let people traditionally served by the Democrats know that the Democrats are no longer their party. So they stay home or vote for Trump in the hope that something will change.
@ProfRobAnderson I think demand of publicly-traded corporations for legal services from Biglaw firms is pretty inelastic to price. I would bet it is more elastic among high-net worth clients where ownership and control are more tightly yoked.
@ProfRobAnderson It's hard to believe that principal-agent problems do not infect the corporation-counsel relationship. Corporate managers play with a lot of "free" money and I suspect a lot of it is siphoned off by law firms.
