@corybramall I try for 1 week per quarter. One full week in the summer (family week at the lake cabin), a week off around the holidays. Then some longer weekends here and there throughout the rest of the year, usually lining up PTO with existing holidays.

@jessekoepke A 5k display port -to- USBC directly into my MBP (rather than through a dock) did the trick. Not sure if that'll help or not, as you're already on a desktop anyway.

@jessekoepke I haven't had that exact issue, but noticed that with my LG Ultrawide when I first got it, the display had lots of issues (refresh rate, resolution, etc) before I got a proper cable for it. M1 Max and M2 Pro MBPs.

@saradietschy Which is to say: they're gonna drag toys everywhere. Certainly make a space to organize the toys and stuff. Make your house safe, so they can explore and be with you. But don't be to attached to a single "play area" as your little grows and moves and follows you around 🙂.

@saradietschy Two boys, 4 & 2. They're gonna wanna be where you are. They don't care / know the difference between "a play area" and "playing where mom and dad are" - they have as much fun under the dining table as they do in the living room. Embrace the mess. It's a stage of life. Godspeed.

@corybramall @mccaus As a former bartender, it's REALLY hard to mess up a Negroni - unless you're using junk spirits - which could be the case because bad gin is REALLY BAD and good gin is quite good. There is no in between.

@Arcane_Motion @kevinbparry This is literally the first use-case I thought of when text-to-video was announced like a year ago. CEO uploads his headshot, voice sample, and the comms teams writes a script for him and AI makes the video. It absolutely will be a thing for internal corp comms teams, lol.
