Why does the "genocide" narrative fall flat when you look at the actual cycle of conflict?
Let's look at the facts. Since Israel completely withdrew from Gaza, Hamas and other Palestinian factions have launched five major wars against Israel.

Every single time, the pattern is identical:
1 A massive terror attack is launched against Israeli civilians.
Israel responds to defend its borders.
The response is labeled a "genocide" by critics.
As soon as a ceasefire is reached, leadership proudly boasts about preparing for the next round.
If a nation's goal were truly annihilation, the reality on the ground would look entirely different. Instead, we see a continuous cycle where the leadership in Gaza explicitly states their desire to keep fighting, regardless of the cost to their own people.

In a controversy now before Australia’s Royal Commission on antisemitism, former Attorney-General and senior Labor MP Mark Dreyfus accused Sky News Australia journalist Caroline Marcus of antisemitism.

Marcus, a Jewish reporter whose family fled persecution in Europe, had directly called Dreyfus a “kapo” after he entered a political preference deal with the Australian Greens.

This was not an antisemitic slur. It was a legitimate and harsh moral judgment against a senior Jewish politician who chose to align himself with the Greens, who do not recognize Israel’s right to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people and consistently oppose its right to defend itself. They have repeatedly spread Hamas-style propaganda that demonizes Israel while advancing the political interests of those who call for the elimination of the Jewish state and its population.

The Greens have played a significant role in normalizing antisemitism in Australia. They have attacked Jews who defended Israel after the October 7 massacre and have helped create a political climate in which hostility toward the Jewish state is treated as acceptable.

Dreyfus, who serves in the pro-Hamas Albanese government that moved toward recognizing a Palestinian state after the murder of over 1,000 Jews and the kidnapping of hundreds more, made the calculated decision to preference this party in his own electorate.

When the fearless Jewish journalist dared to condemn this alliance that aids the enemies of the Jewish nation, Dreyfus responded by weaponizing accusations of antisemitism against her and invoking his family’s Holocaust history in official submissions to the Royal Commission. Instead of addressing the substance of the criticism, he attempted to turn the Commission (an institution established to protect Jews from rising antisemitism) into a tool to silence a Jewish journalist and deflect attention from his own immoral political choices.

Caroline Marcus had every right to use the term “kapo”. A Jewish journalist has the right, (and in this case, the duty) to sharply criticize a senior Jewish politician who makes political deals with forces that undermine Israel’s existence and contribute to the normalization of antisemitism in Australia simply to protect his own political career.

Dreyfus’s conduct reveals a politician who lacks moral backbone. By aligning with the very political forces that have helped fuel antisemitism in Australia and then using the Royal Commission to shield himself and those allies from scrutiny, he is actively harming the ability to identify and confront the real sources of the threat facing the Jewish community.

When a senior Jewish figure prioritizes his political interests over moral clarity and the security of his own people, strong condemnation is not only justified,it is necessary.

In 1981, Japan delayed the DTaP vaccine until children turned two years old.

Japan holds one of the lowest infant mortality rates, while the US ranks among the highest.

During the 1970s, following only two reported infant deaths linked to the whole-cell pertussis vaccine (DTwP), intense public concern prompted the Japanese government to halt routine DTwP vaccinations.

They later introduced the acellular pertussis version (DTaP) in 1981, but limited its use to children aged two and older.

In 1993, Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor & Welfare discontinued the combined MMR vaccine after it triggered a significant increase in severe adverse reactions — particularly aseptic meningitis resulting in serious harm and fatalities.

Japan now provides separate measles and rubella vaccines and has never reintroduced the mumps component or the MMR combination shot.

In 1994, Japan revised its Immunization Act, changing all childhood vaccinations from mandatory to voluntary/recommended status.

This removed any penalties for declining vaccines and moved administration from mass public health clinics to individual choice via private doctors — prioritizing personal decision-making and informed consent.

The U.S. continues to have the highest infant mortality rate among 16 other developed nations.

As of 2022, the CDC reports the U.S. rate at 5.6 deaths per 1,000 live births. Japan’s rate remains among the world’s lowest at 1.7 per 1,000 — the U.S. rate is more than three times higher.
