Yes, youre entitled to your opinion….but you should expand your knowledge and try FSD. It costs nothing, book it online at the nearest Tesla store. Drive it for an hour. I had a similar opinion, took one for a test drive, used FSD, went home and bought it. Today I regularlly drive point to point from my driveway to my office 26 miles away and back, and never touch the wheel! It’s truly an incredible experience.
A perfect analogy from ~100 years ago for today’s AI confusion/fear debate was the rollout of electricity in the 1910s–1920s.
Back then, society was split into two very similar camps:
• Doom camp: Electricity was dangerous (people were terrified of electrocution—there were real public scares and even “electric chair” demonstrations). It was going to destroy jobs for lamplighters, gas-lamp makers, candle makers, and countless manual laborers. Factories and homes had to be completely rewired; old infrastructure became obsolete overnight. There was genuine confusion and hype mixed with panic: “This new force will upend everything and leave millions unemployed.”
• Optimist camp (the one that won): It would light up the world, power new machines, dramatically boost productivity, enable new industries (appliances, radios, movies, modern factories), and improve quality of life. It took a couple of decades for the full productivity explosion to hit (the famous “productivity paradox”), but once society adapted—new wiring standards, safety rules, training, and infrastructure—it transformed civilization more than almost anything else in history.
Sound familiar?
@MarkMacenas but...also talk about the veterans and first responders who will lose access to the natural relief solutions you provide that keeps them functional. This is an angle that is very hard for politicians to ignore.
@MarkMacenas Hey! I heard Rand Paul speak the other night. he said to contact your senators. I know this is tough for business, but you need to not only talk about the effect this will have on your business closing, but ...
BREAKING: The US government spent a near record $642 BILLION in January, $142 billion higher than last year.
Over the last 12 months, government expenditures hit a whopping $7.1 TRILLION.
By comparison, public expenses in 2019 were 32% lower, at $4.8 trillion.
In just 10 years, federal government spending has DOUBLED.
Government outlays have never been so large excluding the 2020 pandemic and 2021 recovery.
Government spending is out of control.
Khamenei’s official position is clear that the eradication of Israel is the actual goal, not just supporting Palestinians.
That will not happen. All that actually happens, decade after decade, is a never-ending cycle of violence and vengeance.
Stoking the fires of hatred isn’t working. Perhaps it is time to consider something else.

Congratulations! About 3 percent of the air you breathed in recently came out of the lungs of the people in the room with you right now”
