This is one of the dumbest immigration policy ideas imaginable.
The Trudeau government already turned Canada's human capital immigration system on its head.
Prioritizing the PR applications of millions of low skilled TFWs would only deepen the damage, and is a recipe for continuing to crash Canada's per capita GDP.
Huge numbers of upwardly mobile younger Canadians are leaving the country to pursue opportunity elsewhere. In other words, we are bleeding human capital.
So who in their right mind imagines we can become more productive and prosperous by focussing our immigration intake on the lowest skilled jobs in the economy?
#Opinion "It is time to put a stop to Finance Minister Horner and his “worst possible option” plan to bring in no-fault insurance next year."

This hit on Connor Zary is the most dangerous play in hockey & it’s completely avoidable. It’s also unacceptable by AJ Greer. It’s not a hockey play, it an intent to injure with the consequences being a broken neck & paralysis. I was injured just like this. No more.
I'm not sure why they even bother at this point. He very easily could have broken Zary's neck. Disband this DoPS garbage and try again. There's no credibility left to be salvaged.
Ok everybody I agree it’s time we all sit down and have the Bouchard for Norris conversation. It’s becoming undeniable, and if you vehemently disagree with even considering the possibility. You don’t watch enough Edmonton Oilers games.
@keithgerein@edmontonjournal Very slow… filling out the form took less than a minute. Waiting in line to have the person with the laptop check was very slow… approx 30 minutes for the 9 people in front of me to be processed. Less than half the tables were staffed. Seems like very poor planning?
@BarDown Eliminate the instigator rule.
3 point for regular time W, 2 for OT W, 1 for OT loss.
Fire Campbell.
Fire Perros.
Complete overall of DPS, set new standard of actually protecting players. All hits from behind, hits to the head, etc., have severe suspensions.
Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia has announced new concession prices:
• $2 hot dogs
• $2 waters
• $2 sodas
• $2 chips
• $2 popcorn
A family of four used to spend $98 on hot dogs, water, and popcorn but will now pay $24 instead.
That's awesome 👏
@SportsnetSpec So @NHL we’re back to “if a toe is in the blue paint” version of goalie interference? All season, or only against certain teams? Blows my mind betting is allowed for NHL games when rules change on the fly, depending on who makes the call & which teams are playing. It’s a joke.
@edmontonjournal Could not agree more. The “calming measures” installed along 76th do nothing but funnel more traffic to an already busy intersection. No foresight and a complete waste of tax payer dollars.
