Matt Renshaw what an innings. One of the best I’ve ever seen 👏👏👏 @CricketAus

[David Southall @david_southall]

@robpowellnews Good lord indeed

[David Southall @david_southall]

@sydneyswans 8-1 free kicks to Freo when it really counted - that was the difference

[David Southall @david_southall]

This transfer is a difficult for me. Such a great player and a true Gunner. Wish him every success in the future!

[Gabriel Martinelli @gabimartinelli]

Once a Gunner, always a Gunner ❤️

[David Southall @david_southall]

Sadly the World Cup is now a complete joke as it’s priced out real football fans. Current FIFA leadership should be ashamed of their legacy but I guess they are too far removed from reality to care ⁦@BBCSport⁩ ⁦@SkySportsNews⁩ https://t.co/SASi2wICbD

[David Southall @david_southall]

@damienmartyn What really irks me is Marsh’s response on why Renshaw was left out for SL game. He said it was so he could fit into the squad. Why was dropping Renshaw the only option to enable Marsh to play? One of Green or David should have been left out based on form

[David Southall @david_southall]

@damienmartyn Actually it’s actually two T20 world cups in a row where Australia has underperformed and squad selections questioned. Bailey & Marsh should step down for their roles, BBL form needs to be respected & current squad players like Green and David only retained based on future form

[David Southall @david_southall]

So u fly Steve Smith 2 SL & add him to T20 squad 4 must win game. Then u select Green over him for his batting only. 2 T20 world cups in a row selectors have messed up. Time to change? Nah! As that never happens to boys club members @FoxCricket @CricketAus

[DailyAFC @DailyAFC]

Footage of Unai Emery ‘waiting’ to shake hands with Mikel Arteta… ❌🤣

[David Southall @david_southall]

Embarrassed by Oz cricket team ultra defensive field tactic last night to avoid short batting session before stumps. Indefensible, unprofessional & shows little faith in openers. Cost 60 runs (so far) & gave England advantage. Team should be ashamed! @CricketAus @FOXSportsAUS

[David Southall @david_southall]

@Melbourne airport is the worst airport in the world. Landslide complete chaos and a disgraceful welcome to the city. No tourist arriving and enduring this airport would ever want to come back.

[David Southall @david_southall]

VAR has attained a new low today with the disgraceful decisions in the Chelsea v Fulham game. Disallowed goal a disgrace and how can you give a penalty when the player already has his arm in position before it’s hit by the ball.@BBCSport @SkySportsPL

[David Southall @david_southall]

Lions series been a massive step in the right direction for @wallabies. Joe Schmidt leaves this team in a much better position for the future. Also a great way for Nic White to end his Wallabies career. A great player for his country 🇦🇺🏉🇦🇺

[David Southall @david_southall]

@sydneyswans Another umpiring disgrace

[David Southall @david_southall]

@IamSandraOh you are amazing! Thank you for standing up for the importance of free speech!

[David Southall @david_southall]

Brilliant news! 👏👏👏

[Arsenal Women @ArsenalWFC]

How could she not? ❤️

[David Southall @david_southall]

Brilliant performance by a great team. 1st team ever to go from first round qualifying to lifting the #womenschampionsleague. Amazing by @ArsenalWFC and very proud the team has 3 Aussies too.

[Arsenal Women @ArsenalWFC]

Celebrate every moment ❤️

[David Southall @david_southall]

So free kick count at halftime is GWS 19 Swans 8 yet another @AFL game where umpires are impacting the outcome. Sub-standard umpiring is worst part of the game, and I wish media would pay more attention to this issue

[David Southall @david_southall]

I’ve bitten my tongue long enough. @AFL umpiring is sub-standard at present. 70m given for 50m penalty, 25m kicks ruled not 15m. Too many umpires seem to want to influence the game, rather than just officiate. Standard must lift! @FOXFOOTY @FOXSportsAUS

[David Southall @david_southall]

I believe umpires are having too much influence in @AFL outcomes. Free kicks twice this weekend have made difference- Footscray got first 8 frees in Q4 v Carlton and Brisbane 11-2 in Q3 v Geelong. Lopsided counts in just 1 quarter are hard to explain in my opinion. Concerning!
