Well, well, well, it seems that those who attacked people for not going along with their COVID dictates are not happy and now want us to sit down and stop bringing up their past dictatorial demands.

We'll be an oppressed minority, so you'll have to be understanding and adapt to our way of life. Every supermarket must stock real pork, ham, chorizo, and bacon. And we're bringing all our dogs, so you'll need dog parks, and you'll have to smile tolerate them we walk them in front of your mosques. We want our women to be able to safely go out alone and wear shorts and tank tops. And when the weather's nice, we men like to go shirtless. We also want to drink alcohol, dance, and place an occasional bet at the horse races.

While we're at it, your religious holidays are a bit too much; they could offend the Christian community, so we'd appreciate it if you'd discreetly eliminate them. Thanks.

In schools and workplaces, our children and employees must be able to wear large crucifixes, say prayers, eat ham sandwiches in the cafeteria, and learn Christian principles without anyone getting criticized. We also demand chapels or Christian prayer rooms in every building, plus translators, because we have no intention of learning Arabic.

If any of this is rejected, please send a list of police station addresses so we can report you for discrimination, Christianophobia, racism, and anything we don't like.

One more thing: if my kids protest or burn your flag for any reason, please be understanding. I'll be sure to give them a very serious scolding.

Finally, we all want generous benefits, free housing, phones, free food, and pocket money while we "integrate" over the next three generations. Working is optional, obviously. Be patient with us, you'll get used to it.

🚨CATHOLICS just put a Jewish scholar who rejects Jesus, promotes abortion, and supports homosexuality in charge of how Catholics read the Bible!!

Amy-Jill Levine is the new president of the Catholic Biblical Association of America.

She is the first Jewish scholar to hold the position. This is the body that shapes Catholic biblical scholarship, trains the teachers of priests, and influences what gets taught in seminaries and parishes.

Levine has already taught New Testament at Rome’s Pontifical Biblical Institute and met repeatedly with the previous pope. She does not believe Jesus is the Messiah.

She does not believe He is God or even a true prophet sent by God.

In her view, Jesus was simply a first-century Jewish storyteller and rabbi whose religion was Judaism, not Christianity. She has written that because the world still has disease, war, and disaster, the messianic age never arrived, therefore Jesus cannot be the Messiah. The resurrection, the incarnation, the atonement, and the claim that He is the only way to the Father are all rejected.

She has said theological claims are “not open to empirical testing” and that “belief is not like Sudoku. It is like love.” Her project is to strip the Christian claims out of Jesus and return Him to Judaism as a useful figure.

She wants to rehabilitate the Pharisees, arguing that Christians have “borne false witness” against them for two thousand years.

She has co-edited a major volume on the Pharisees that includes an essay from the previous pope. She has called for revising the lectionary so that Sunday readings which portray Jews or Pharisees negatively are either changed or given “warning labels.”

She has compared this project to removing symbols of slavery from public parks and canceling people for sexism, racism, or homophobia. She also holds progressive views on abortion and homosexuality that stand in direct opposition to historic Catholic teaching on the sanctity of life and human sexuality.

This is not a minor academic appointment. It is a public declaration that the institutional Catholic Church in America is willing to place someone who denies the central claims of the Christian faith at the head of the organization that teaches Catholics how to read the Bible.

For decades the Church has drifted left on doctrine, liturgy, sexual morality, and political priorities. Elevating a scholar who openly rejects the divinity of Christ, the resurrection, and the New Testament’s own account of the Pharisees is simply the latest and most brazen example of that collapse.

When the people charged with guarding the deposit of faith hand the keys to someone who does not believe the deposit exists, the faithful are no longer being led.

They are being gaslit.

A unique feature of these 10b startups is that even if they raise a billion, little, if any of that money goes to the founders, who are now worth billions of dollars over night. They are the definition of cash poor, stock rich

How are you going to tax them ? Make them borrow money against their shares, if they can? They just raised money to grow their company and a bank will come along and loan them money ? A company that has been in business maybe less than a year ? lol

Will you take their stock if they can’t ?

Do you really think each of multiple founders, who started an amazing company in Cali and is now a billionaire, can each just pull out $250m per billion of net worth from their raise ? You know they can’t.

If this passes , and it doesn’t directly impact me at all, I won’t be a cali resident, but you can bet if I’m investing in a multi billion dollar startup, I’m asking them to move from California first.

IMO, if this passes, only idiot startup founders stay in Cali.

I’ve done it before and will do it again. Dallas. Pittsburgh. Indiana. I will make NOT being in California a pre requisite for an investment
