My research work on LLMs, AI agents, AI in education and intelligent systems has now been cited over 100 times. Grateful to the AI community for engaging and I am excited to continue advancing the field in the years ahead.
PS: Our upcoming book Mastering Agentic AI: Hands-On Guide to Designing and Deploying Intelligent LLM Agents, which I am authoring with @yashwanthsai29 will be available this winter.
Your hard work won't get you promoted. Read that again.
I learnt this the hard way, so you don't have to.
I was working on a multimillion pound construction project with over 500 people on site. As one of the site engineers, I managed two of the biggest work packages.
I knew 200+ colleagues by first name.
In my years in UK construction, I had picked up bits of European languages. It helps me connect better.
I took the job personally. I was always the first in and last out.
My shift was only 10 hours, but the night shift crew were always sure I would be there to hand over to them at night and take briefing from them in the morning.
Appraisals were great. I even won two awards for performance. I thought my results were speaking for me.
So when new opportunities opened, I expected my name to be called.
Instead, the company hired new section engineers (the next role above me), and I had to show them the ropes.
It happened several times. I was hurt, so I started looking elsewhere.
When I got a new offer, I spoke with my manager, he said: "You never asked."
He thought I was happy where I was.
That was my wake-up call.
Performance is not enough.
Everyone knew me, Visibility is not enough.

@EnergyCloud_org@AoifeMFoley EnergyCloud's pilot opportunity sounds like a fantastic initiative to engage manufacturers and tech providers in creating more sustainable solutions to reduce energy waste. I've just had a look at the details on their website. Great stuff! I am looking forward to it.
@g__j@AoifeMFoley One of the strategies to get energy costs down is to accelerate the transition to a clean, homegrown energy system while simultaneously reforming the energy market to reduce its reliance on gas prices, and helping households and businesses become more energy-efficient.
To the only wise God, the Immortal, the Immutable, and the Omniscient be all the glory, majesty, dominion, and honour now and forever, world without end. Amen and Amen!
Thank you, LORD, for another year to serve your purposes and be a blessing to humanity(mankind).

@taadelodun that is suffering! COLLABORATE! Donβt compete, collaborate! It is through collaboration we can get to our destinations. Walking as a group is our beauty and glory. But if we donβt relate with one another with the right mindset and we are thinking this or that,
