The concern,was the absence of a platform where different youth leaders could express their opinions, maybe they could get to the right people, being with information that isn't put in use is equally cancerous, and we got the solution and took the initiative,@AhurraIvan @YAction3

This handover ceremony is more than a formal transition of Board leadership; it is a celebration of continuity, resilience, and our shared commitment to improving the lives of adolescents and young people.

To our outgoing Board members, we extend our deepest gratitude for your dedicated service and visionary leadership. Your strategic guidance has strengthened our governance, shaped our policies, enhanced our programmes, and ensured sound financial stewardship.

Through both challenges and successes, you have remained steadfast in your commitment to the organization. Although you are stepping down from your official roles, your wisdom, experience, and invaluable contributions will continue to inspire and guide us. Your legacy will forever remain an integral part of UYAHF's journey.

To our incoming Board members, we warmly welcome you with optimism and humility. By accepting this responsibility, you have embraced a noble calling to serve and lead. We are confident that your expertise, commitment, and fresh perspectives will strengthen our mission and propel UYAHF to even greater heights. We look forward to working alongside you as we build on the strong foundation laid by your predecessors and continue advancing the rights, health, and wellbeing of adolescents and young people.

We also take this opportunity to honour our founder. Though absent today, his vision, courage, and unwavering dedication remain the cornerstone of this organization.

He planted the seed that has grown into a vibrant institution championing gender equality, equity, and the wellbeing of young people. We remain committed to preserving and advancing his vision with integrity, passion, and purpose, ensuring that UYAHF continues to serve as a beacon of hope and opportunity.

As we embark on this new chapter, let us remember that our greatest strength lies in our unity and collective commitment. Together as Board members, staff, partners, and communities, we will continue to challenge harmful social norms, amplify the voices of young people, and deliver meaningful, lasting impact across Uganda and beyond.

I wish to draw the attention of the public to the matters regarding the Speakership race.
After wide consultations and deep introspection, and to maintain harmony and clarity in my beloved party, the @NRMOnline, I wish to categorically and unequivocally state that I will not be offering myself for the Speakership race of the 12th Parliament.
I am greatly indebted to H.E @KagutaMuseveni, my party, the @NRMOnline, and members of the 11th Parliament for giving me the opportunity to serve as Deputy Speaker and Speaker.
I am equally indebted to my family and friends for the solidarity and support they have extended to me over the last five years.
I pledge my total support to the candidates who will be endorsed by the President and the Party, and Implore all colleague MPs of the 12th Parliament to do the same.
I shall remain available to the service of my country as the party and the President may assign me.
