"Every year on April 24, we mark the 1915 Armenian genocide.
"This year, we should also reflect on the present day, for Armenians are again facing a new set of atrocities as the world watches on with indifference."

On this day we remember all the victims who perished in the genocide and commemorate the resilience of the Armenian people in the face of denial, suffering, and existential threat, which sadly continue on to this day. 🇦🇲♥️
With this miniature painting, I wanted to capture the colors of the Myosotis plant, also known as the "forget-me-nots". The flower has become a symbol for the commemoration of the #ArmenianGenocide, which today marks its 107th anniversary.
It’s now up for auction at david_auctions on IG. All proceeds will be donated to https://t.co/sgyFs9KcHs. They provide humanitarian aid to the Armenians in Artsakh, who are constantly under the threat of ethnic cleansing, many of them having become refugees in the last war.
