@SleeperMets They actually didn't clear $12 million - they're sending the Pirates $2 million this year and $6 million next year. So that's $8 million of the remaining $13.4 remaining on his contract. Kinda nuts they had to eat that much money for maybe the best RP on the market

Polanco already worked out at 1B for a couple months last season when he was preparing to play 1B for SEA, and he’s been working on it this offseason too. I agree that Baty is the best 3B on the roster right now.
