🇮🇱🇦🇿 What a display of friendship! Today, for the fourth time, the Joint Economic Commission between Azerbaijan and Israel, co-chaired by the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan @MikayilJabbarov and Minister @zeev_elkin, convened.
This commission reflects the close relations between our countries. More than 70 delegates from 15 ministries and agencies from each side participated in the commission.
A key part of our relations are the economic ties, which have grown significantly in recent years.
We welcome the strengthening of our cooperation and its diversification in different sectors, for the benefit of our people.
We look forward for the next commission, to be held in Baku.

The Republic of #Uzbekistan welcomes the agreement on a ceasefire in the #Gaza Strip and the release of hostages, reached with the direct support of the @POTUS @realDonaldTrump.

We highly value the coordinated efforts of #Egypt, #Qatar, and #Turkiye, which played a significant role in this important process, paving the way for the swift cessation of violence, alleviation of the humanitarian crisis, and resumption of political dialogue.

Uzbekistan consistently advocates for a lasting and just peace in the @MiddleEast, based on international law and the relevant @UN Security Council resolutions.

We are convinced that the ceasefire should not be a temporary measure, but rather a step toward a long-term political settlement that guarantees security, sustainable coexistence, and the restoration of mutual trust between the parties.

The Republic of Uzbekistan reaffirms its readiness to continue contributing constructively to international efforts aimed at achieving peace, stability, and humanitarian relief in the Middle East region.
