State and local law enforcement agencies trained side-by-side this week to complete our Field Force Operations course, led by the HCSO Special Response Group training team under SRG instructor Deputy Kevin Turek.

Last night, the @HCSOTexas Dive Team responded to Good Times Marina after a vehicle lost control and became submerged while backing down a boat ramp. Dive Team members arrived and assisted with the removal of the vehicle from the San Jacinto River. All occupants were able to safely exit the vehicle prior to it sinking.
Safety reminder: Always place vehicles in park and engage the parking brake at boat ramps.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Industrial Unit met with the Port of Houston Police Department during their roll call to strengthen communication and collaboration protecting the Houston Ship Channel.

Members of the HCSO Marine Unit are in Washington, DC this week attending the MARSEC East Maritime Security Conference!
