In honor of the 25th Anniversary of the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnels to Towers Foundation are transporting a piece of the World Trade Center steel to 37 cities across the country.

The tour brought an authentic World Trade Center steel beam to Space Center Houston on May 31. The event featured a steel receiving ceremony at 9:00 a.m., followed by a public viewing of the Mobile Exhibit until 2:00 p.m.

This week, our @HCSOTexas Community Problem Oriented Policing Unit hosted an in-person Community HUB meeting with the @HCSO_D1Patrol area.

The HUB brings together community service providers to help connect individuals with resources beyond traditional police services.

Our Boarding Home Detail, along with @hcfmo & @TexasHHSC, responded to an illegal boarding home where numerous adults & children were living.

In Harris County, it is illegal to operate a boarding home without a permit. Great collaboration to help protect vulnerable residents.

@HCSOTexas Motorist Assistance Program Deputies are out on freeways in Harris County Monday-Friday, 24 hours a day, and will help you any way that we can because freeways are dangerous environments. We also partner with the Tow and Go Program, and offer free tows to stranded motorists on freeways in the Greater Houston area, 24/7, call 713-881-3333 for a Tow and Go wrecker.
