Texas Governor Greg Abbott just shut down the nonsense.

DFW Airport’s plan to install dedicated Islamic wudu (foot-washing) stations is illegal religious favoritism at a government-owned facility.

Abbott’s response:

→ Immediate review of all state grants to DFW and IAH for possible revocation

→ Formal referral to the U.S. Department of Transportation for investigation

“Government-owned airports cannot favor one religion over all others. Texas will not allow illegal religious discrimination at taxpayer-funded facilities.”

The steady increase in fuel prices continues to hit the pocket of millions of families. It is difficult to understand that the United States, one of the largest oil and gas producers in the world, continues to face high prices at gas stations. Citizens hope that the country's energy strength will translate into greater stability and relief for consumers.
Added to this is international uncertainty. Tensions with Iran and other conflicts in the Middle East have contributed to the volatility of energy markets. In my opinion, foreign policy should be characterized by firmness, clarity and the capacity for deterrence. When adversaries perceive hesitations or negotiations that do not produce concrete results, there is a risk that they will interpret that situation as a sign of weakness.
From that perspective, I believe that President Trump's government should maintain a more forceful position in the face of threats from hostile actors and terrorist organizations. The priority must be to prevent any regime that poses a risk to international security from developing capabilities that could threaten the United States or its allies. Waiting for a threat to materialize to act could have irreparable human and economic consequences.
At the same time, the strength of a government is also measured by its ability to protect the purchasing power of its citizens. If fuel prices continue to rise while international uncertainty persists, that discontent could influence public perception and affect the political landscape ahead of the next midterm elections.
National security and economic stability are not separate matters. Americans expect leadership, timely and political decisions that protect both the country and the pocket of those who work every day.
