A lot of negativity from Canes fans on the timeline but you’ve gotta put this all into perspective
It’s the Cup Final. We’re not playing the Isles. Not every game is gonna be dominance like we’ve been so blessed with. Incredible spot to be in and you gotta appreciate it. Last night was an incredible game. Sounds corny but you’ve gotta be grateful to have that great of a product. Just win tomorrow and make this the 6 or 7 game series it deserves to be.
📢 Stat Correction Update
The NHL issued a stat correction for the Golden Knights vs. Hurricanes Stanley Cup Final Game 1 last night:
• Sean Walker shots: 1 → 2
• K'Andre Miller shots: 1 → 2
Impacted wagers have been resettled to reflect the change. We’ve got your back! 🤝
It was a great game man… nothing to be upset about
You have to expect more out of your core players. The guys who have been here for one or two seasons are the only guys showing up. The guys hindering the team are the guys who were/are the building blocks. Brutal.

Sean McDonough’s only good call was only good because it was so bad on the MSU/Michigan fumbled punt
Everything else is just horrendous and lacks creativity & passion
Per #NHLStats, Staal's span of 16 years, 358 days between Cup Final goals is the longest in history, breaking the previous mark by 4 days held by brother Eric Staal, who scored vs. Vegas (16 years, 354 days; Game 5 in 2006 w/ CAR to Game 1 in 2023 w/ FLA)
