I’ve heard some talking heads say that the only thing crypto is good for is cross border transactions.
All I hear is increased velocity of money and global economy.
@brando_sui@BrantlyMillegan@ensdomains Hey Brando. PR is making its way through our process. Although it passed the unit/e2e tests, we still manually test before merging. May be a little old school, but our philosophy is to treat the manager app like a financial app.
I was impressed with your PR. 🙏
@AmbireIntern@mely_jpg@gregskril It’s a known UX issue that should be resolved in the next version of the app with nameChain.
Thanks for adding an avatar! We love it every time we see it and is an internal metric we track.
@forlbb@garypalmerjr@nicksdjohnson@jefflau Hi @forlbb. We currently are working on deleting unused translation keys and adding monitoring to keep the keys relevant. Are DMs the best way for me to keep in contact with you?
@tferriss I remember Vitalik and Balaji talking abt ENS on the pod yrs ago!
Would love to hear your views on the news of GoDaddy and Ethereum Name Service (ENS) partnering to bridge GoDaddy users to Web3 and crypto-enabling tens of millions of DNS names.
Can facilitate with both parties!
A lot of fun reading the reactions to today’s GoDaddy announcement.
I believe gasless DNS was only possible because ENS is structured as a DAO and considers itself a public good.
My not so informed guess is that subscriptions could also be a reason for this design.
I believe I read in the graph docs that resources for concurrent subscriptions increase exponentially, so offloading to a worker makes a lot of sense for an app like discord where you could have thousands of users live chatting at the same time?
