@JinDanVX@DocStrangelove2 Looks like it to me. Hard to tell with the video quality, but looks like he pulls the trigger twice with no bang before breaking his grip.
@TPCarney Not changing the clocks is good. I don't care what time sunrise is. It's not like changing the clocks can change how long the sun is out for.
@jbarro@SeanTrende I don't care in the slightest when sunrise is as long as we don't have to change the clocks twice a year. All year DST. All year Standard time. All year Timbuktu time is fine by me.
@kyk1opes@dilanesper What's protected is the right to keep and bare arms. It's definitely not confined to within the context of militia service. But I do think you can promote things that contribute to the "regulation" of the militia, that is, its combat effectiveness.
@SchizoLLC@dilanesper Right. I should clarify. You couldn't compel someone to join a national guard unit, or the like, in order to exercise their right to keep and bare arms.
"Can you have a compelled draft in war time?" would implicate a different set of questions.
@dilanesper I agree this is more originalist than, "self defense is the core of the 2a". But you have to take "the right of the people" seriously and you can't actually compel militia service. The point is to have a combat effective pool to pull from when asking for volunteers.
@ProtonPirate@HimboWisecrack@CartoonsHateHer It's the stick figure arms that weird me out. Do they even work? Where are the muscles? With so little body fat they should be obvious.
@OhTeenQU0TESxo @HGRandolph@historyball234@Bmac0507@neontaster The books never really make a case that Snape ever stops being a vile racist. He just flips sides and spends the rest of his miserable life nursing a pathetic incel grudge over the leopard finally eating his face.
@MorosKostas We should scrap TSA because we should scrap TSA.
Not clear how that's supposed to help Trump's budget pass. Holding air travel hostage is the leverage the Rs have to try to force ICE funding. As long as airports work the shutdown can go on basically indefinitely.
I was using ChatGPT for legal advice and it decided to completely hallucinate some preposterous nonsense about how growing wheat to use on my own farm somehow constitutes interstate commerce
Here's a free link to me in @nytimes today: "No one wished events would prove libertarians wrong more than libertarians themselves." https://t.co/o11HScMrpk
@jbarro Any other outcome would have been less pathetic and humiliating for the Ds. Maybe this was the inevitable outcome, but if it was, it's because they knew they would fold before any real pain occurred from the start so this is all a self fulfilling prophecy of incompetence.
