I understand Hull has changed considerably since I left in 1994. After that some civil service burecratic noticed that Hull was one of the less ethically diverse places in the the in UK and moved many imigrants into Hull.

For me Hull was a place to escape life, hide yourself away and not do much with your life. It has an end of the line feel to it. Hull was essentially an insular and profligate town wasting time and more for me.
