@Jamaizon@thefleeee I get that "It's not how the card works", just like playing double Poffin, double Pad etc. In non interactive game like Pokemon it doesn't matter.
You're just trying to gain advantage from nitpicking opponent's actions, and fortunately judge correctly ruled against you.
@Jamaizon@thefleeee It's still the same window of searching the deck. You can play Pokepad, bench Meowth and Poffin at the same time to search a nonRB, Supporter and two benched basic in same deck search despite "That's not how the card works".
@Jamaizon@thefleeee Which is the example I gave? Played two Pokepads, searched Fan Rotom, and searched 4 cards from deck afterwards (3 from Fan Rotom, 1 from second Pokepad).
That's totally okay.
@Jamaizon@thefleeee Did they say "I Benched this?" Because putting the card on the bench area can still be seen as just "Revealing the card" after searching the deck.
I'll give you benefit of the doubt and lets say they benched Fan Rotom instead, its still okay to search 3 colorless and one nonRB.
@Jamaizon@thefleeee Unless they explicitly say "I am benching this" after searching the first one, they can always argue that they're only revealing the card that they have searched and not actually bench it.
@Jamaizon@thefleeee Like I said, that is not different from not letting people played two Pokepads to search two because "technically" you are supposed to do it one by one. Are you also not letting people play double Pad/Poffin etc?
@Jamaizon@thefleeee As long as it doesn't advance the board state and the deck content is not changed, then sure, why not?
You can show two candies, Zard and Pidgeot at once, and physically evolved Zard first before Pidgeot, essentially "playing two cards" after Zard and it should be okay.
@Jamaizon@thefleeee I'd let you evolve into Zard and show me boss for the win, as long as you showed me there's enough energies on deck.
If you don't and you need to play super rod first to recover energies, then I won't let you.
@Jamaizon@thefleeee No, that's same as Meowth under Watch Tower, bump Stadium and search supporter.
Totally different example as the example we were talking about. Meowth under Watch Tower or Noctowl without Tera on board (or Noctowl under Watch) cannot activate when they were played.
@Jamaizon@thefleeee I know Meowth is only when it's played, but you're just assuming they failed the search when they never did. The intent is and has always been searching the supporter, and the ability is legal to activate when Meowth was played to the bench.
@jen_tcg@EasyCakeMuffin@OfCharacters Prize check isn't mandatory, so despite you should technically know your deck content after a deck search, "the game" doesn't know it yet.
@jen_tcg Because in Yugioh, there's no randomization on what's on your deck, unlike in Pokemon. In Pokemon, you technically don't know if a Warrior is in your deck since it could be prized, while in Yugioh, you should know what's in and not in your deck.
@Jamaizon@thefleeee Are you going to start telling people who played two Pokepads at once that they have failed their first Pokepad and only allowed them to search with their second Pokepad? It's the same assumption as failing the Meowth effect.
@Jamaizon@thefleeee The difference is, in Meowth case, the player never "don't use it". The intention is and has always been activating the effect and searched the Boss. Noctowl example is like Meowth under Watch Tower and only playing down a stadium after realizing the mistake.
@Jamaizon@thefleeee Huge difference here. On Meowth example, when it was played, it was totally legal to activate Meowth and resolve it. On Noctowl example, when it was played, it was totally illegal to activate and search because there was no Tera yet.
@ElvianElvy_TCG T3 (fuzzy part according to you): Could it be he attached one energy here to any Drakloak? Then on T4 when he Crispin it should be absolutely correct that he would have 3 energies on board (2 on Pult and 1 on Drakloak).
