@Ldn_Ambulance It really is exciting to be able to find a technology that is so readily adopted by colleagues and in our first pilot showed significant benefits both in terms of productivity but also in supporting our clinicians and their interactions with patients.

For the first time, Paramedics are using Artificial Intelligence that will allow them to care for hundreds of extra patients a day.
Trialled by our Clinical Hub, AI is helping to save time on writing notes, enabling our clinicians to treat more people over the phone.
The HCPC (@The_HCPC) is conducting a consultation on its proposed new Sanctions Policy for #FitnessToPractise cases and I really encourage registrants in particular to respond.
Many of the points we've included in our response are legalistic (e.g. "The guidance on criminal convictions and cautions is wrong and does not reflect the updated legal position following the case of PSA v GDC & Patel [2024] EWHC 243 (Admin). Rather, it wrongly asserts the previous position from Fleischmann v GDC [2005] EWHC 87 (Admin)"). However, I think the most important feedback we've provided is that the document is unwieldy and confusing (as well as occasionally being wrong) and we think it likely that an unrepresented registrant trying to navigate the HCPC process alone would find it indecipherable. That's the real problem and missed opportunity with the current draft of the new policy and it could - and should - be greatly improved.
The consultation will remain open until 1 September 2025 and can be accessed here: https://t.co/CH0oTon4RT

College of Paramedics: there is a “serious graduate employment crisis” - up to 40% of new graduates unable to find a job in England. The College said figures were “shocking”. This comes after govt announced plans for trusts to employ more newly qualified nurses and midwives.

@qatarairways. I raised a complaint two weeks ago about multiple pubic / beard hairs baked into my business class meal bread roll. I suffered gastrointestinal illness and fever afterwards, and despite raising twice with photos I have had no contact. Can you help me please?
@HealthRegLawyer Great quality care in health and social care is a team effort. A multiprofessional team of health and care professionals. Personally, I want us all to come together nursing, AHPs, medicine, midwifery, dentistry, social work, etc. Us all. Divided we cannot work well together.
@DCollingsHughes We've had regulation, and therefore an independent professional identity, for a generation now in UK. But identity is still complicated... Perhaps we need to develop an international consensus?
I was so pleased today to receive the nursing badges & buckles of my late Aunty Nina. She came to England at 15 & qualified as a RMN, RGN & Midwife in 1965, 1968 & 1969. She was loved ❤️
