You know what Unity didn't address in their update?
This.
They can shove that 2.5% up their ass if it can change it any moment. No word on that in the update.
@jettelly I would LOVE to see a guide for how to get something like an interactive debugging console working! Hard to believe it doesn't come with it out of the box
@reduzio@godotengine For example setting a breakpoint and typing commands into a console is an essential part of how I find my way in a new environment, especially one with a lot fewer examples available. I just don't think I'm skilled enough to fork it and add the things I need on the fly
@reduzio We do? I'm sorry, I searched around and even asked in the discord but I didn't see it officially supported. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?
I’m exhausted.
Please don’t make this another “let’s complain for a couple days and then go straight back to using Unity”.
They betrayed our trust. They stole our time. This is not about money.
Let’s actually do something about it this time.
@unity That's it, you broke too much trust. I'm switching over to Godot. Failing that, Unreal Engine. The only way I might reconsider is if you not only walk it all back, but also change your TOS and make it impossible for you to pull anything like this again. Just. Wow. 👏
Hello you, yes you, friend who also doesn’t do anything for the holidays and who won’t see friends or family for covid reasons: I see you.
It’s very hard to do this while we see others ignore the guidelines and have gatherings while we stay lonely. I see you. Thank you ❤️
A copy-and-paste Out of Office for your email:

*points to all of 2020*
See you in the New Year"
@NovallSwift My first gf was in tech and she was way smarter than me. I never understood the bias until others told me their stories. The world is so messed up, but I believe awareness and change begins by talking about it. Keep telling your stories! Sending love & support 💪🏻💪🏻
i’m so jealous of 3D games. you can do so many wonderful level design things, like show stuff at distance, hide things around corners or out of view, play with camera angles. but it’s like insanely expensive and time consuming so it’s something i’ll never get to do :(
