Hey all, I wrote a Diddy Kong Racing renderer for https://t.co/kn41TFeuPx! You can view all the tracks from the N64 game inside your own web browser. Check it out here: https://t.co/tXOrRhAuhq
@falco_girgis@Shes_Kerosene@TSRStormed I started the decomp 6 years ago in July 2020. I would say 99.9% of the decomp is non-ai. The person who matched the last 4 functions did have help from Claude fable. The code looked good to us, so we accepted it.
@ReanimationXP@natalie_thenerd From what I’ve read on the forum. It should be possible, but is difficult if you want both ports to be fully in USB spec.
@JacksonLinder@macrumorslive They mentioned that the pros had “more memory” in a single sentence during the presentation, but didn’t say it anything else about it. Can’t find anything about RAM in the tech specs page.
@DefaultDNB@Thunderfang7 From what I remember, the main issue with DKR is the custom graphics microcode Rare made . There will need to be some rendering code made specifically for DKR. Same reason why there isn’t a recomp of DKR yet.
@Thunderfang7@DefaultDNB Just so you know, a decomp is separate thing from a pc port. The decomp makes it easy to mod the original N64 game. It’ll probably be a different team who will make a port from the code in the decomp.
Mario Builder 64, a SM64 ROM hack I built with @arthurtilly413, where you can quickly and easily build custom levels in-game without having to learn confusing ROM hacking tools or C programming
Has Ghosts 'n Goblins for NES ever felt a little... janky to you? What is up with the frame rate? What is wrong with the sprites? Can we run it at 60 fps? (spoilers: yes)
