It's @bruntwoodprize deadline day! 6pm today. To all those who have entered or are entering - you are legends! Bruntwood changed my life and I am so excited to be a judge this year. Can't wait to get reading! All the love. :) :)
Someone will be sat there right now thinking “Should I send that thing I’ve written that I haven’t told anyone about or let anyone read because I don’t know what it is and I don’t know if it’s any good and it’s probably rubbish”. I was like that.I was like you and I won. Send it.
With just under two weeks until the June 5th Bruntwood Prize deadline @rxtheatre Dramaturg Suzanne Bell has some reassurance ‘You have nothing to lose and an awful lot to gain’ https://t.co/nCxHtrXxcW
For those screenwriters just starting out on this epic journey. Could I advise you to get into theatre? Becoming a playwright really helped to “find my voice” and get my words off the page and onto the stage in front of a paying audience. A real test!
