The comebacks in this one were remarkable. A lot of my (limited) soccer viewing over the years made me feel the general formula to winning is score first, then devote everything to stopping opponent from scoring. And if up two goals, it’s over. This World Cup showed there are so many more possible outcomes and ways to arrive at those outcomes.
