@kabuelenain@JBizzle703 Wow, this advice was extraordinary. Thank you Khaled for taking the time to respond. I coincidentally even had that thought a while ago that I should live and breath networking more, and everything you said makes complete sense. I'll keep you in the loop with my progress!
I failed more exams than you can count, but ended up with two CCIEs and a Ciscopress book with my name on it. Don't lose hope. This is part of the process !
My advice: when you work with a technology at work, go back home and dig DEEP into that technology. You worked with a DNS incident today ? Google DNS and try to absorb EVERYTHING you read on DNS. Same with dot1q. Same with OSPF. Maybe a little challenging with wider subjects, or more complex protocols, but this is not a one-day process. Don't underestimate how hard the CCNA is.
Second piece of advice, getting better is an incremental process, as long as you're consistent. Listen to 10 mins of pluralsight videos EVERYDAY - for a year. And let's talk afterwards.
Let me know if I can be of any assistance !
