@OriginBroadband: Sorry we messed up, but we credited your account and now the next month is free.
Also @originbroadband: You haven't paid last month's bill, so we're going to charge you £10 and limit your service in 7 days.
How would you rate your service?
Hey @OriginBroadband, in April you illegitimately put up prices for existing customers, but new customers are now being enticed with cheaper monthly rates. How is this fair? What's your advice for existing customers who are funding new customers?
@OriginBroadband It still didn't make the price increase legitimate, and you haven't actually refuted that! Neither have you refuted that existing customers are now paying for cheaper deals for new customers. These practises should attract the attention of @ofcom and @BBCWatchdog. Very poor.
@JackTheL4d @MrTClayts@abbeylinegold@OriginBroadband Might be able to help... I'm sure they don't need/deserve to take money from someone who's had a hard enough year already.
@Adajesu3@OriginBroadband I recommend you message/phone your bank and get them to make a Direct Debit Indemnity Claim against @OriginBroadband . The Direct Debit Guarantee means you're entitled to a full and immediate refund. It's handy when you're dealing with an incompetent company who overcharges you.
@OriginBroadband when you said "as soon as possible", did you mean "of course we're not going to contact you - we treat our customers with contempt"?
I hope @ofcom are taking notice.
@OriginBroadband it's been well over a week since I complained about my previous complaint being ignored. So do I now complain about my complaint of my previous complaint being ignored? It's like a really shit complaint-version of the Inception movie.
@OriginBroadband you've disabled email correspondence from your customers, and no one has responded on the webchat in over 2 hours. How would you rate your service? 🙃
@lythamgirl@OriginBroadband Check if you've had a price rise. If you have, then @OriginBroadband didn't follow the rules, so they're letting people leave fixed-term contacts free of charge. 🙂
@__getinthebin@OriginBroadband@Ofcom Short answer is yes, it definitely applies. Here's the overview:
https://t.co/DEaqip26CY
And the in-depth:

https://t.co/MAYPs7jldQ
@__getinthebin@OriginBroadband@Ofcom Yes, @OriginBroadband "Terms of Service" only state price rises for rolling contracts. And @ofcom General Condition 9.6 states they have to give you the option to leave if they raise prices. They haven't even followed that procedure correctly, so the time limit is void.
@__getinthebin@OriginBroadband If you need to leave @OriginBroadband , then the price rise is a blessing in disguise. It is a breach of contract and @ofcom rules. Origin are having to let people walk mid-contract.
