@thinkdefence Great piece of kit, but how are you going deploy it, the smaller ones are based on 50t excavators the pic looks a 70-80t base. It'll have to be split in to several pieces to get it anywhere with a big crane which the defence community don't really do
@miles_chains Many moons ago, about this time as a lowly railway trainee one of my placements was the level 5 shop at Neville Hill, 16years old and helping to do the bogie swaps, swinging the new buckeyes in from a modified buckeye hanging on the crane. Fun times
In case you've never heard the howl of an arctic wolf, here it is, it's worth listening to it.

@LUDENClassics One of the "if I win the lottery" projects I've come up with whilst walking the dogs is taking the arnage engine and putting one in a LWB Classic Range Rover
We seem to have ordered quite a few of these wonderful @CGRTeams Alex Palou Indy500 winning race car models.
In fact we have 100’s of them! So we’ve decided to give them away.
Simply follow and RT for a chance to win one.
@LUDENClassics The councils are waiting for the works to move on then they'll get hs2 to resurface all the roads out of their budget, save the council spending money.
THIS GUY LIVES UNDER SFO'S TAKEOFF PATH SO HE BUILT A CEILING PROJECTOR THAT TRACKS EVERY PLANE FLYING OVER HIS HOUSE IN REAL TIME
he uses a cheap $30 radio receiver to pick up the signals that planes broadcast while flying.
then projects them onto his ceiling in real time
when a jet flies over his house you hear it outside and at the exact same moment a plane glides across his ceiling labeled with the airline, aircraft type, and destination
pure black background so the projector's rectangle disappears and only the aircraft are visible
but he didn't stop at planes
it also draws the real sky behind them. sun, moon, bright stars, constellations, and live satellites including the ISS. all at their true positions for his exact location and time in real time
so he's lying in bed watching the actual night sky projected onto his ceiling with real planes crossing through it as they take off from SFO
there is a huge market for every man alive that runs outside to see the helicopter
vibe coded the whole thing himself with a cheap radio, a projector, and some clever software
@MattTakeThree@DasLandRoverMan@ListerLawrence the SEG don't mess about, I was doing a survey for some wide loads going to a hospital in London, turns out it's where all the posho's go. I'm measuring some bollards and these comes in the front of a convoy, so I'm rapidly getting the tape measure in, and got a thoroughly
