@LeahRebeccaUK Sure it's generally helpful to be able to get up to speed, and should be achievable inmost cars built in the last 30 years.
Running a fully loaded wagon -even with gravity helping- it's not always possible.
Keep an eye on what's coming and middle lane if needed.

@MotoNutJob Engine conversions and the like have a degree of popularity in more modern vehicles.
Maybe not a 'Restomod' in the sense of wedging a modern driveline under a 50's or 60's built car, but repowering a modern vehicle with something better is definitely a thing.

I'd be plugging it in and seeing what the live data is telling you.
Start with the correction values for the injectors, that'll give clues.

@MattTakeThree @ListerLawrence Range Rovers for motorway policing and traffic in general used to be a common sight, as with Discovery 3 and 4 for DVSA/VOSA.

Seen the odd Disco 5 stickered up for DVSA, but not many.

I know Volvo arent a British marque, but st least they're still a consistent presence.

All their six cylinder engines are an inline layout.

Yes, but 15% on £12k is somewhat less than 3% on £250k
Also, £12k in 1985 wpuld be just over £47k now.
