On Stand Up to Cancer Day, we honor the strength of every family battling this disease. Andy and I believe health care is a basic human right, and we are committed to making Kentucky a leader in the fight against cancer.
No kid should ever have to experience the trauma of childhood cancer.
That's why we’re making Kentucky a national leader in the fight against this illness. We were one of the first states to include childhood cancer research funding in our budget. And we won't stop there.
Tonight the Mansion is lit gold to recognize the children and families affected by childhood cancer. Britainy and I are holding these brave children in our prayers tonight, and we hope you'll join us.
As a dad, I cannot imagine the heartbreak of a family when a child is diagnosed with cancer. Yet, parents like Liz Turner lead with love and strength to help others. @accorg 1/3
