Looking forward to preaching at Houston’s First Baptist Church this Sunday morning at 9:15 and 11…if you are in the Houston area please join us….Happy Father’s Day!
Recently, we heard from a local church children's teacher in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, who shared a testimony of the impact of teaching children to share their faith. As a ministry, our greatest joy is seeing local congregations equipped, witnessing, and training others.
"I visited one of our churches out in the rural area, and I got the surprise of my day. Here I am in this rural church, children are having lessons that point other children to Jesus, and the practical part inspired me the most as they were cutting different items and learning at the same time."

Some leaders gathering at the Congress of Nations serve in places where following Christ requires extraordinary courage.
Their faithfulness is a powerful reminder that the Gospel continues to advance even in the hardest of places. Visit https://t.co/QLSzfD80Yq to learn more.
"The fissionable material is the thousands of laymen and ministers equipped to build loving relationships and graciously, effectively share the Gospel of Christ with their friends, relatives, associates, and neighbours. The explosive power is the Holy Spirit working through the Gospel, which is the dunameis, or 'dynamite,' of God. The result, ... is not chaos but the creation of a vast host of new Christians."

What a week at #SBC2026! Over 500 people visited our booth to learn how EE equips believers to share the Gospel. Most exciting of all, two men (pictured in the first two photos) gave their lives to Christ after hearing the Gospel at our booth. 🙌

There’s something powerful about children not only hearing the Gospel but learning to share it. 🙌
In Caracas, Venezuela, six churches completed Hope for Kids training, equipping leaders and children to share Christ boldly. Through their outreach, 20 people heard the Gospel!
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Galatians 2:20
What happens when leaders from many nations gather in one place?
John calls it a “slice of heaven” — leaders bringing unique perspectives, worshiping together, and seeking to see God glorified.

A new book on historical evidence for Jesus is drawing national attention and challenging how people describe faith in America.
The book, written by author Jeremiah Johnston, has gained strong public interest for its focus on historical research tied to Jesus. Johnston says the response shows a wider shift in cultural conversations. He argues that the success of the book goes against the idea that America is a post-Christian nation. The discussion has grown as readers continue to engage with the material across churches and online spaces.
One of the most shared lines tied to the book has stood out in public discussion. “The evidence is in. The tomb is empty. And the culture is catching up.” The statement has circulated widely as part of conversations about faith and history. Supporters say the book brings renewed attention to long-standing questions about belief and evidence. Critics and scholars continue to debate the interpretations, keeping the topic active in academic and public spaces.
As the book continues to spread, it has become part of a broader cultural moment around faith in modern America. Readers across different communities are engaging with its message in different ways. For many, it is opening conversations about history, belief, and identity. The growing attention suggests the topic will remain part of the national dialogue moving forward.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
We remember today those who have laid down their lives for freedom. #MemorialDay
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
