The proposed UTME centre in Ottawa has generated conversations, questions and different opinions. And that’s okay.

As a public institution, JAMB welcomes scrutiny and remains committed to being accountable to the people we serve. But accountability works best when it is grounded in facts, context and fairness.

The Ottawa proposal is about expanding access to eligible Nigerians abroad, not establishing another permanent JAMB office or spending public funds on a new facility. It is also part of a wider effort to strengthen the connection between Nigerians in the diaspora and Nigerian tertiary education.

How do you guys even think?
Does everything have to be about oposition?

I personally would love my kids to write jamb and atend a private or public decent school in nigeria. It is about sending them home to learn and integrate for 4 years.
I am sure there are hundreds or thousands of others like me.

Also, you can be in nigeria and write IELTS, Cambridge A levels, SAT, TOFEL etc... but why is it headache to you that nigeria is making JAMB accessible to foreigners and Nigerians in diaspora.

You guys actually think you are doing politics with this mindless oposition but it actually make you look very dumb.

I feel for the future of nigeria if this is the grade of people who call themselves oposition in our politics. APC is realy having good time with you guys in oposition.

Japanese, South Korean, Chinese and infact Asian Work-culture severely prohibits calling older persons even if they are on the same rank by first name or without any professional prefix. The Asian society have adopted western styled work ethic but kept the core of their identity which is firmly built on respect.

Africans and Nigerians on the other hand will copy everything western including eroding their own culture and identity just to feel western.
