@bearly_tweets @chilternrailway They seem to be over cautious these days. Last week they were saying not to travel when there was no strike, because of an overtime ban. I travelled twice into London and it was fine. They’ve obviously sold a lot of tickets and have no idea how many will turn up on tbe day 🤷🏻‍♂️

@JoniM74258755 @chilternrailway Horrific, but there’s many times a full Wembley turns out and the majority head to the station, this is nothing new. You just need to be prepared to wait for up to a couple of hours to board a train, that’s all.

@Mikey_r1 @chilternrailway It is ridiculous. They’ve obviously seen a lot of prebookings and are nervous services will be overcome. Trains might be full getting there. Getting back is just a huge queue, you will eventually get to the front. You won’t get a specific train time back though.

@ClaireFree17783 @chilternrailway Chiltern don’t offer seat bookings and therefore specific trains. On the way there you should be ok but will be busy. Getting out you will queue, it might take a couple of hours to get to the platform and a train. You will 100% not get the train you want, will be whatever one.

@zwanzig20 @chilternrailway @NetworkRailCML No. They haven’t got a clue, they are always over cautious though. They said don’t travel last week when there was no strike on, it was fine. They don’t know how many people are catching each train as they don’t book seats. Which is why people can still buy tickets and on the day

@chilternrailway Again, you’ll have to trust me, the aircon is NOT working in this carriage, I travel by train all the time, mostly on Chiltern so I know what an air conditioned carriage feels like, especially in this heat, it’s 100% not working on this one.
